Primary School 1903

This photo is also on display in Alyth Museum and is labelled with the following information

‘The entire population of Alyth School around 1903. The man with the bushy beard and the Glengarry bonnet was the janitor, Sergeant Kinloch! The school was originally opened in 1878 and incorporated the older Parish, Free Church, Episcopal and Industrial Schools. The entire centre section of the building was destroyed by fire in 1928.”
